Hey dkwp, thanks for that review ! I would have missed this gem of a film otherwise !
Wow, dark was an understatement ! I love these types of films and I'm still trying to come to an understanding of the ending ! I think I know from where his problems first started to become ingrained ( could it be that Mommy was really Daddy and the whole thing was repeating itself in his life ? ) and a bit of sanity at the end made him send them away ? I don't want to say too much and be a spoiler for others that have not seen it !
Cillian Murphy was great and really took me by surprise after that opening scene. I think they would have been hard pressed to find a better actor for this film ! He was very believable in ether role he was playing !
I'm going to wait a bit and watch it again because it's the type of film that I know will reveal more I did not pick up on the first time around ! LOL Most definitely a thinking mans movie !
